Platt Tech Students are HOBY Ambassadors
Two Platt Tech students, Arianna Capriglione from Hairdressing and Sean Rescanzski from Precision Machining, represented Platt Tech as ambassadors to the annual HOBY state leadership conference (Hugh O’Brien Youth Leadership). HOBY’s flagship program is designed to help high school sophomores to recognize their leadership talents and apply them to become effective, ethical leaders in their home, school, workplace and community. Arianna and Sean attended a three-day seminar and participated in hands-on leadership activities, workshops with business and industry leaders, networked with other students, and explored their own personal leadership skills while learning how to lead others and make a positive impact. Thank you to the Platt Tech PFO and Student Council for their support in sending two ambassadors from the Class of 2018 to HOBY.
