Platt Tech Honors Veterans

On Thursday November 10^th Platt Tech students invited family members who are veterans for a Veteran’s Day Breakfast that was prepared and served by our culinary students in the school’s Orchard dining room. After the breakfast an assembly was held and the 102^nd Army Band performed. The assembly also included Senator Gayle Slossberg, State Representative Pamela Staneski and Milford Mayor Benjamin Blake who spoke to the crowd. Family member names were posted on the wall of honor and the national anthem was performed by Junior Abigail Cruz. Special thanks to Mary Benjamin for organizing, and all the staff students and community members that assembled to honor our veteran’s.
