Platt Tech Carpentry Helps Pumpkin Delight Elementry

Carpentry at Work

A couple weeks ago a representative from Pumpkin Delight Elementary School reached out to the Platt Tech Carpentry Shop.  They just finished a large construction project and their “mitten tree” had been disposed of. They use it every year for a glove, mitten and hat drive for the less fortunate.    The sophomores in carpentry were excited to help, put their shop projects on hold and fabricated a new mitten tree for them which was recently delivered!
