Platt Tech Athletes of the Month – December

Kaden, a Precision Machining Technology student and football player, has totaled up 354 rushing yd, 3 TD,  7 receptions for 86 yd, 1 TD.  On defense, he racked up 13 tackles and an interception for another TD.  Wali had a total of 508 All-Purpose yards (including special teams) for 5 total TDs for the month of November.  He also earned Athlete of the Week honors in October.

Jermaine, a Junior Collision student and basketball player,   He also earned Athlete of the Week honors in October, November and December.  He is also been named co-captain for the basketball and football team while earning Academic Honors 1st marking period.  Jermaine has been one of the top scorers in each of the games in December.

Aaliyah, a sophomore Sustainable Architecture and basketball player has displayed tremendous leadership over the past month. On the court, Aaliyah consistently approaches every practice and game with a positive attitude.  She provides support and encouragement to struggling teammates, reminding those who are feeling down that “we are here to have fun”.   This leadership has extended into the classroom as one teacher stating “Today just reminded how awesome she is.” She is a well rounded individual;  truly a pleasure to have both as student and a player. She represents Platt’s values to the fullest .
